Finding yourself lacking a bit of excitement in these darker, colder, gloomier winter months? Liven up your taste buds with this delicious and best refreshing green smoothie recipe! Packed with antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese, healthy fats (omega-3s, omega-6s, MCTs), vitamins A, B(B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9), C, E, K… A great way to wake your body up with the distant, exotic taste of the summer!


Makes 2 Litres

Best Refreshing Green Smoothie


  • Large handful Spinach
  • Large handful Spring Greens
  • 1 Pineapple
  • 1/6 Watermelon
  • 2 Handfuls Grapes
  • Handful dried Goji Berries
  • Lemon
  • Passion Fruit
  • Large thumb of Ginger
  • ½ Pint Water

2 Tablespoons of:

  • Maca Powder
  • Ground Flax Seeds
  • Raw Cacao Nibs
  • Hemp Seeds
  • Pumpkin Seeds
  • XCT Oil (or MCT or coconut oil)


1. Pluck the grapes from the stems and give them a quick rinse.

2. Peel the lemon, pineapple and cut out the insides of the watermelon.

3. Chop the fruit and veg into chunks.

4. Chuck half of them into your blender.

5. Add the nuts, berries, seeds and Maca.

6. Throw in the rest of your fruit and veg into the blender.

7. Add the XCT oil and water.

8. Mix until the consistency looks smooth.

9. When the shake looks nice and creamy, detach from the blender and pour out as desired.

Perfect as a light, healthy breakfast for the family. Little smoothie bottles you can keep in your fridge and drink at your convenience. Or just pour into a large juice container and keep with you as something to sip on throughout the day or at the gym!
