Fruit n’ Greens – Best Fruit and Veg Smoothie
If you love veg, but have a taste for the sweeter things in life, then try this deliciously balanced best fruit and veg smoothie. High in vitamins and absolutely packed with antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, iron, calcium, magnesium, folate and healthy fats (omega-3s, omega-6s, omega-9s, MCTs). This super smoothie is refreshing on the mouth whilst packing an absolute rocket of vital nutrients!
Recipe
Makes 2L

Ingredients:
- About 1 kg of Cavolo Nero
- A ripe Pineapple
- 2 stalks of Celery
- Cucumber
- Pear
- Apple
- Handful of Mint
- Lemon
- Large thumb of Ginger
- Pint of Water
Optional:
2 Tablespoons of:
- Maca Powder
- Hemp Seeds
- Chia Seeds
- Cacao Nibs
- XCT/MCT/Coconut or oil of choice (Pure MCT/XCT oils provide greater energy release)
1 Tablespoon of:
- Spirulina Powder
- Chlorella Powder
- Ashwagandha Powder
- Lion’s Mane Mushrooms
- Maringa Leaf Powder
Method:
1. Wash your ingredients. Cut the cavolo nero into large pieces.

2. Peel the pineapple and lemon.
3. Chop the fruit and veg into chunks. Gett rid of any seeds and stalks.

4. Chuck half of them into your blender.
5. Add the powders and the seeds.

6. Throw in the rest of your fruit and veg into the blender.
7. Add the coconut oil and water.

8. Mix until the consistency looks smooth.
9. When the shake looks smooth and creamy, detach from the blender and pour out as desired.
Perfect as a light, healthy breakfast for the family. Little smoothie bottles you can keep in your fridge and drink at your convenience. Or just pour into a large juice container and keep with you as something to sip on throughout the day or at the gym! A great way to keep your body full without the calories!

Or go crazy and add some more nuts, seeds, granola, raw cacao nibs or any extra fruit you might like and turn it into the best fruit and veg smoothie bowl!
