The Purple $wag

The Purple $wag – A Healthy Blueberry, Beetroot Nutrient Smoothie

Vibrant purple autumn shake rich in antioxidants, fibre, iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium, omega-3’s, vitamins K, A, C, B’s… Perfect mix to give your body the nutrients it desires and the healthy fats your brain needs to get it fired up and ready for the day.


  • Handful Of Kale
  • Handful Of Spinach
  • 2 Handfuls Of Blueberries
  • 2 Cooked Beetroots
  • 1 Lemon
  • 1 Passion Fruit
  • 2 Tablespoons Ground Flax Seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon MCT Oil
  • ½ Pint Of Water
  • 12 Ice Cubes


  1. Wash the kale and spinach and add to your blender.
  2. Wash the blueberries and chuck the them in.
  3. Throw in the beetroots.
  4. Add the flax seeds
  5. Peel the skin of the lemon, cut in half, deseed any visible seeds with your knife and add in the lemon halves.
  6. Cut the passion fruit in half and scoop the insides into your blender.
  7. Attach the blender to the rest of it.
  8. Add a tablespoon of MCT Oil.
  9. Pour in about half a pint of water into the blender, and cover with lid.
  10. Mix until the consistency is smooth and free of any lumps.
  11. Add in about 8 cubes of ice.
  12. Mix it again.
  13. Divide the remaining ice cubes between the number of glasses, or into the storage container (keeps it nice and cool while you drink it).
  14. Pour out the smoothie as desired.
