Summon something extra ordinary this winter with the best lychee smoothie recipe ever! A tingle on the senses, this smoothie is packed with antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, iron, calcium, magnesium, copper, manganese, healthy fats (omega-3s, omega-6s, omega-9s, MCTs), vitamins A, B(B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, B12), C, E, K… A delicious blend of flavours and nutrients, sure to give your body the refreshing boost that it needs!

Recipe

Makes 2L

  Ingredients:

  • 2 Large handfuls Spinach
  • 3 Handfuls Lychees
  • Handful fresh Cranberries
  • Handful Blueberries
  • 1 Apple
  • 1 Pear
  • 1 Uncooked Beetroot
  • Lemon
  • Passion Fruit
  • Large thumb of Ginger
  • ½ Pint Water

2 Tablespoons of:

  • Maca Powder
  • Spirulina Powder
  • Chlorella Powder
  • Ashwagandha Powder
  • Ground Flax Seeds
  • Hemp Seeds
  • Chia Seeds
  • Lion’s Mane Mushrooms
  • XCT Oil (or MCT or coconut oil)

Method:

1. Wash your ingredients.

2. Peel and deseed the lemon and lychees. Cut off the ends of the beetroot.

3. Chop the fruit and veg into chunks.

4. Chuck half of them into your blender.

5. Add the powders and the seeds.

6. Throw in the rest of your fruit and veg into the blender.

7. Add the XCT oil and water.

8. Mix until the consistency looks smooth.

9. When the shake looks smooth and creamy, detach from the blender and pour out as desired.

Perfect as a light, healthy breakfast for the family. Little smoothie bottles you can keep in your fridge and drink at your convenience. Or just pour into a large juice container and keep with you as something to sip on throughout the day or at the gym!
