Homemade Sauerkraut

Sauerkraut is one of the easiest fermented foods to make at home and is packed with probiotics.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium green cabbage
  • 1 tbsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Shred the cabbage and mix with salt.
  2. Massage until juices are released.
  3. Pack tightly into a jar, submerging the cabbage.
  4. Ferment at room temperature for 5–10 days.
