Homemade Sauerkraut
Sauerkraut is one of the easiest fermented foods to make at home and is packed with probiotics.
Ingredients
- 1 medium green cabbage
- 1 tbsp sea salt
Instructions
- Shred the cabbage and mix with salt.
- Massage until juices are released.
- Pack tightly into a jar, submerging the cabbage.
- Ferment at room temperature for 5–10 days.
